A dynamic marine waste recycling centre informing and teaching the public on material re-appropriation. Through bringing in a combination of state of the art Industry 4.0 technology and traditional workshop spaces, the public will be able to get involved in the future of their waste.  A plastic marine research lab will form the connection with both the University of Plymouth and the Marine Industry tackling the issues of plastic pollution. The main feature is the envelope which reflects the natural effects of plastic in the environment over time involving a robot dispensary system which changes out components when they are deemed obsolete by the building AI. The building understands its environment and is constantly adapting and integrating with the on site manufacturing and climate systems to optimise everyday interactions.
